“Ben was responsive, informative, patient and kind throughout the process. It was nearly a year from getting a quote to use for a grant application to the final purchase. Jennifer was also very helpful. The gentleman who worked with us for the wrap design was also patient and responsive in helping us choose the final design. It is gorgeous!! The deliver person was friendly and helpful. We had a lot of staff converge to see the unit and get trained, so the training was not as orderly as I anticipated. However your team followed up and provided a link to a video and a pdf of the owners guide to help our team leran how to both use and take care of the unit. It was a long journey and the professionalism of the team was so greatly appreciated!!”

“Pleased about everything except rear tires came from Ohio under-inflated (45 PSI vs. 65).Somewhat understandable since the outside rear tires have valve stems angled poorly to check and inflate. Inside rear tires are very easy to check. Your engineers need to work something out.”

“About the dealer end, all is great... just a comment about the Turtletop van/bus that I bought. Somebody needs to tell Turtletop that there rear heat sucks in these units. They mounted it under the 2nd row of seats on the drivers side, with no distribution channel to evenly spread it to throughout the coach... so the rear passengers freeze while the front passengers roast. Then, to add to that problem... it is either on or off, no temperature regulation at all. As an airport shuttle service with an average travel time of an hour, the entire ride consists of "it's too hot/it's too cold", which decreases the customer satisfaction as well as the drivers level of frustration.”

“My partner and I very much love our Shuttle Bus that we purchased from you. In the photos it showed beautiful hubcaps, whereas upon delivery some were missing; also, the A/C for both the front and the back sections did not work, so it's unfortunately been in the shop for a while. The aspects of the contract we of course understand, so this is something which we are not angry at or anything. The consumer always wants the bells and whistles.”

“The only issue we had was the day of signing. Brian wasn't able to be there b/c of a death. we had no problems with that. Brian has been excellent. The gentleman we worked with (I believe he was the president's son)conducted himself in a very poor way. We called ahead to let them know we were coming and when we got there, we ended up awaiting an extra 45 minutes for him to show up as we were bounced to two different rooms. 2 call had to be made to let him know we were waiting. He was unprepared and gave us the wrong information to several of our questions. If we have to deal with him in the future, we will not purchase another bus from Tesco. Note- Brian was awesome and we really enjoyed working with him”

A couple of points impressed us: First, my company is generally not involved in buying buses and knew next to nothing about it. Blair made a great effort to understand our purchasing process and was very flexible in adapting his approach to meet our needs. Secondly, even after getting the order and the down payment, Blair & everyone at Tesco was extremely service oriented, even though it is unlikely that we will be in the market to buy a new bus anytime in the foreseeable future. “Would have expected that the bags to hold the wheelchairs tie-downs would have been installed on the bus before delivery. Instead the bags were sent afterwards and it became our task to install them. This may sound like a small thing but we are an end-user that does not operate a repair shop. We have to find someone to install these. It's an irritation to have to do so.”

“We had our mind made up to buy a Turtle Top from the beginning. I started out dealing with TESCO from the beginning, but the lady that was purchasing this particular bus wanted to see if I could not locate it nearer to us. I did go with a Louisiana and Mississippi dealer, but they could not deliver as soon, they tried to talk me into purchasing a Goshen Coach, their quote was over $8,000.00 more. I felt comfortable buying the bus from TESCO even though it was some 1,100 miles away. I made the deal flew to Detroit airport, they picked me up drove me to their office. We made the deal and I was on the road home in less than an hour. We owned a MidBus on an International frame. The bus itself, not the International side, has been nothing but trouble. I will never own another MidBus.”

But, when the bus was not clean inside and out to the spec. that I told him my boss was looking for I was slightly un-happy. We love the Turtle Top bus we brought from you. We hope if the Lord allow for us to buy another from you. I was not happen with receive the Tithe in the mail late. I don't believe something that important should be sent regular mail without some can of tracking or signature needed.
