The northeastern most U.S. state, Maine, offers a diverse topography with everything you need to create unforgettable memories. Ninety percent of the state is forested, and home to many animals rarely found elsewhere. The rocky coasts of Acadia Bar Harbor provide a quiet refuge with its striking cliffs, bluffs, and granite peaks. Another hot area for vacationers and residents alike is the greater Portland region, known for its cobblestone streets and lighthouses.
Maine's most popular attractions include the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Boothbay Harbor, Rangeley Lake State Park, and Grafton Notch State Park.

Which TESCO Vehicles Come Recommended for Maine Residents?
Tour Buses. Looking to trek to Baxter State Park to hike the Appalachian Trail or cruise down Commercial Street in Maine's largest city of Portland? We have an impressive fleet of new and used vans that carry seven or more passengers. One of our favorite passenger buses is the Collins MFSAB, available on the Ford Transit chassis. It is very configurable, with different wheelbases and roof heights to choose from.
Mobile Clinic Operators. You may be looking for additional transport if you own or operate a mobile health clinic in Maine. Our mobile health clinics come in different floor plans and configurations to suit your clinic's needs. Some have one exam room while others carry two rooms and a waiting area, from compact clinics on the Ford E-Series to larger clinics on a Freightliner chassis.
Senior Citizens. With Maine's large aging population, TESCO has hundreds of new and used wheelchair-accessible buses and vans accommodating 3 passengers/2 W/C riders (e.g., Ram ProMaster 2500) to 30+ passengers. In addition, our ADA buses adhere to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for special and non-special needs riders of all mobility levels.
Most of our ADA buses have rear and side lift options, while others use a lowered floor design.
Depending on vehicle size, drivers may not need a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), an excellent advantage in avoiding additional paperwork. If you are interested in viewing TESCO's ADA and wheelchair van inventory, visit TESCO - Wheelchair Accessible Buses for Sale.
