A mini bus is a small bus: a bus body on a cutaway or van chassis, most often a Ford E-350 or E-450, with walk-in headroom, an aisle and a proper entry door, built for 14 passengers plus the driver or fewer. It costs far less to buy and run than a larger shuttle, fits where a full-size bus can't, and under federal rules needs no CDL to drive as long as its GVWR is under 26,001 lbs.
