What TESCO builds on Chevrolet
The G3500 matches the Ford E350 class, 8 to 14 passengers with up to four wheelchair positions, and the G4500 matches the E450 class with bodies up to 25 passengers. Both run GM's 6.6L V8 gas engine, and the G3500 comes with single or dual rear wheels depending on the body.
TESCO has delivered 350 buses on the two, most of them StarTrans Senator II paratransit and shuttle builds, along with Collins multifunction school activity buses on the single-rear-wheel G3500 and Turtle Top and Elkhart Coach bodies on the G4500.
