Ford is the backbone of the TESCO lineup, from Transit vans and cutaway buses to E-Series shuttles and F-Series medium-duty buses.
What TESCO builds on Ford
Ford chassis carry the large majority of the buses and vans TESCO has ever delivered, 4,500 and counting. The Transit covers everything from a 15-passenger window van to a 14-passenger cutaway bus, the E350 and E450 are the light-duty shuttle and paratransit workhorses, and the F550 and F650 take the medium-duty bodies of 24 passengers and up.
The Transits run the 3.5L V6 and the E-Series and F-Series the 7.3L V8, with diesel available on the F550 and F650. The bodies come from StarTrans, Turtle Top, Glaval, Collins, Diamond Coach, Forest River Van and L.A. West, so a Ford-standardized fleet has a choice of builder at every size.
